ADHD is a ‘neurodevelopmental’ disorder which can affect a number of areas of brain function. With understanding, care and holistic treatment, people with ADHD can be successfully supported to improve their quality of life. Children and Adults with ADHD may experience difficulties with:

For you to have ADHD, the symptoms have to be severe enough to cause ongoing problems in more than one area of your life. As you grow older, diagnosing ADHD becomes more difficult because some of the symptoms are similar to those caused by other conditions, such as anxiety or depression. This makes getting an ADHD assessment as soon as possible vital for an accurate diagnosis.
We gather family, medical and neurodevelopmental history through our standardised questionnaires during the screening process.
Then we meet you for a feedback session for around 60 mins (face to face or online) where we gather additional information and go through the findings of the questionnaires and decide next steps.
If the decision is to continue with the ADHD pathway, we continue with the next phase in the pathway…
You will meet a Consultant for the Diva Assessment which lasts around 90 -120 mins. This focuses on the type of ADHD existent and behaviour now in relation to childhood. The details are passed onto the specialist for your diagnosis appointment. This appointment is face to face or online.
You will meet the Psychiatrist or a Consultant Clinical Psychologist for a 60 minute appointment who will assess whether you meet the criteria for an ADHD diagnosis, and may ask you further questions. Treatment plans can then be discussed at an additional cost. A comprehensive report will follow with next steps and recommendations.
Costings are in two parts.

Little is understood about ADHD, and its symptoms are often mistaken for laziness. However, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is a neurodevelopmental condition that significantly affects focus, emotional regulation, behaviour and other executive functions of the brain.
Most people start experiencing the symptoms of ADHD in childhood, but the condition can persist into adolescence and adulthood if not correctly diagnosed and managed. Unfortunately, many people live with undiagnosed ADHD for years, often blaming themselves for difficulties that stem from neurological differences rather than personal shortcomings.
One of the challenges of identifying ADHD is that the symptoms can look different depending on age, environment, and whether a person primarily experiences inattentive, hyperactive-impulsive, or combined symptoms. Some of the common symptoms of ADHD include:
Adults with ADHD often experience persistent challenges that can affect work, personal life, and emotional well-being. Common symptoms include:
You may always feel as though you are constantly behind, always trying to catch up, or living in a state of mental overload. These symptoms can be misunderstood as personal failings rather than an underlying neurodevelopmental condition.
Children with ADHD usually start to display symptoms in school, at home, or in social settings. Common signs include:
Early assessment and support can significantly improve a child’s academic performance, behaviour, confidence, and overall well-being.
With ADHD, there’s no single test that can check and confirm the condition. Instead, we used a structured and evidence-based evaluation called an ADHD assessment. The assessment involves exploring developmental history, behavioural patterns, cognitive functioning, and how symptoms affect daily life.
Our assessments follow NHS-aligned diagnostic guidelines and are conducted by experienced clinicians specialising in neurodevelopmental conditions, ensuring the most accurate results and diagnoses.

Before your appointment, we will ask you to complete questionnaires and provide background information about your symptoms, medical history, and personal experiences. We may also provide questionnaires for parents and teachers for children. These questionnaires are critical and help us form a foundation for the assessment.
After the initial assessment, you will meet with a specialist clinician who will conduct a structured clinical interview. This may take place in person or online, depending on your preference. The interview explores your developmental history, everyday challenges, strengths, and how ADHD symptoms appear in your life. For children, parents or carers play an important role in this conversation.
Once the assessment is complete, your clinician will review all information and determine whether you meet the diagnostic criteria for ADHD. You will receive clear feedback and have the opportunity to ask questions.
You will be provided with a detailed diagnostic report outlining the findings, your ADHD profile and personalised recommendations for treatment, home strategies, workplace adjustments, or school support.
