Atholl is a member of the Neuro Medical Group’s specialist assessment team and is trained to deliver ADOS-2 and ADI-R autism assessments, and the DIVA ADHD diagnostic interview. His degree is in psychology and he’s a BACP registered counsellor with extensive experience in mental health support and bereavement work.
Atholl has worked in schools and colleges, crisis centres, bereavement services and suicide prevention projects. Working in this diverse range of settings has given him the skills to provide support in a number of different contexts and deal with problems in ways which appreciate the complexity of everyday life. His experience delivering assessment informs his ability to support throughout and beyond the process of diagnosis, increasing understanding and helping to validate lived experience.
Atholl works with assessment patients from the age of 7, counselling clients from the age of 12 upwards and can help with:
